Kamryn Brelsford

  Kamryn Faith Brelsford, 19, of Rippey, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

  

Funeral services for Kamryn will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Iowa, with Pastor Heidi Farmer officiating.  Burial will follow at Junction Township Cemetery in Grand Junction, Iowa.  A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden.  For online obituaries and condolences, please visit: www.carsonstappfuneralhome.com

 

  Kamryn Faith Brelsford, daughter of Jon and Nikki (Anderson) Brelsford, was born on July 12, 2004 in Ames, Iowa.  She received her education from Ogden Community Schools, graduating with the class of 2023.  After graduation, she was involved in the STARS Program at Ogden High School.

 

  Kamryn was a very social person who enjoyed being surrounded by others. With the help of her sidekick Kristy, she participated in many activities both in and outside of the special education classroom. She loved music and spending time with her family.  Despite her complex medical needs, Kamryn always had a smile on her face and could fill a room with laughter.  She truly brought out the best in all of those around her.

 

  Kamryn was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Lloyd and Lila Brelsford, Pat and Dorothy Adamson, Sam and Elaine Chiles, Raymond and Lorraine Anderson, and John Tiffany. 

  

Survivors include her parents, Jon and Nikki Brelsford; sister, Kady Brelsford, all of Rippey; grandparents, Dick and Sue Anderson of Ogden, Craig and Jill Brelsford of Grand Junction; uncles, Ryan (Stacey) Anderson, and Joey (Nicole Strean) Brelsford; and several cousins.

  

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
