Dr. Pam Dodge begins as Ogden Superintendent

When the school year kicks off, there will be a familiar face at the helm of Ogden Schools. Dr. Pam Dodge took over as Superintendent of Ogden Schools on July 1. Dr. Dodge began her career in education as a student teacher at Howe Elementary. “In many ways, returning to Ogden is full circle. I am grateful to have the trust of the school board, staff, and community as we work together to create endless possibilities for students,” Dr. Dodge said.

Before officially starting as superintendent, Dr. Dodge was in the district on multiple occasions in April, May and June, visiting classrooms and meeting with staff and community leaders. Commenting on how she approaches the superintendency, “My role is to be a listener and collaborative partner as we help students, staff, and the community reach their full potential. I believe all students deserve the opportunity to succeed.”

In 2017, Ogden passed a bond referendum to renovate Ogden Middle School and Ogden High School. Ogden School Board President, Pete Bergstrom shared, “We are excited to have someone with Dr. Dodge’s experience and passion leading Ogden Schools. While selecting our next superintendent, the Board was impressed by her knowledge and energy. She has overseen school construction projects in multiple districts and is the right leader to continue the great work underway in Ogden.”
