Pam (Juchems) Fangmann, age 51 of Boone, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Pamela Kae Juchems was born on February 28, 1971 at Ellsworth Hospital (Iowa Falls) to Frances and Jay Juchems of rural Steamboat Rock. Pam graduated from Wellsburg-Steamboat Rock in 1989 and earned her medical secretary program from Hawkeye Technical College (2000).

Barbara I. Petrone, 79, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.

A memorial service for Barbara was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Iowa. Rev. Evelyn Lewiston will officiate. On Friday, November 11, 2022 her almighty Lord and Savior called Carolyn Kathryn (O’Neil) Johnson, 79, of Ogden, Iowa, home.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held from 5-7 pm on Sunday, November 20th at Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden. Her life will be celebrated during funeral services at 10 am on Monday, November 21st at First Assembly of God in Boone, Iowa. Pastor Don Beal will officiate. Cremation will follow. At a later date, Carolyn’s ashes will be spread in a private ceremony in her “happy place,” New Hampshire.

Luke Carlson was the youngest of 11 children of Eric Gustaf Carlson and Selma Maria (Rydell) Carlson. Luke was born in Ogden, Iowa in 1926, the year his parents single-handedly built a new church in town. Of the seven brothers who lived to adulthood and were brought up in the Ogden Gospel Tabernacle, three became United Methodist ministers.
