Steve Duffy seeking re-election to Board of Supervisors

Steve Duffy, current Chairman of the Boone County Board of Supervisors, announces that he will seek re-election to a second term on the Democratic ticket.

Duffy is the owner of Duffy’s Appliance in Boone, a long-time successful small business. He attended Iowa State University where he graduated with distinction in industrial administration.

Duffy was a member of the Boone County Conservation Board for 30 years. He served as a Board member on the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce twice and currently is a member of the Boone Chamber Ambassadors. 

He coached Little League for numerous years and his company has sponsored the major league Duffy’s Braves for over 50 years. Duffy is currently a member of the Boone High School Football Friday night chain gang and has volunteered for over 20 years. He has been an usher at Sacred Heart Church for over 30 years.
