Seven Oaks Recreation . . . the place to be!

Seven Oaks Recreation Car Show was the place to be Friday, Aug. 21. There were ninety entries in the event and many people came to simply reminisce.

There were two categories for awards: Curtis Jens received first in the Best Tractor division and Tom Henriksen first in the Best Car/Truck.

Jens lives and works locally and has a great interest in  tractors and antiques.

Henriksen graduated from Ogden High School in 1974, is currently a firefighter in Ames. His specialty vehicle is a fire marshal’s car, complete with a Dalmation in the back seat.
