Services for James "Jim" Phipps

James V. Phipps, age 83, 310 Walnut Street (Box 22) in Pilot Mound, died March 29, 2015, at the Boone County Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be Friday, April 3, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Dayton with Rev. Michael Standfest officiating. Burial will be in the Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Ridgeport with full Military Honors conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. On Friday, friends may call at the Church after 9 a.m.

In memory of Jim, memorials may be directed to the family.
