RSVP is home to the Small Medical Loan Closet

RSVP has been home to the Small Medical Loan Closet since July 2009. This is a free service to persons of short-term recovery available to residents in Boone County. The purpose of the service is loaning equipment short term for 3 months. The person picking up the equipment, completes a short-term loan agreement. The person picking up the equipment, which includes the name, address, and phone of the person who will use the equipment, completes a short-term loan agreement. 

The free service is available to anyone in Boone County. When borrowing or returning the equipment, phone 515-433-7836. Loan equipment items (depending on inventory): wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, toilet seat risers, shower benches, transfer benches, crutches, canes, IV stands, bed, and tub rails.

Do you know or are you the primary caregiver for an adult 25 years of age or older? It is important for caregivers to take some time for their self. Taking time allows the caregiver to be a better caregiver. Our friendly volunteers share their gift of time and are here to help the caregiver two to four hours a week or month.
