Pouring in the threes - Langel sets school record in win over Perry

    In a 64-46 win over Perry Thursday night, Bulldog Abby Langel set a school record of number of threes in game.
     Due to an early print deadline, results from Thursday night’s matchup with Perry will be published next week.

Ogden vs. Panorama
    The Bulldogs were able to exploit the Panther zone defense last Tuesday and connected to find open shots early, but Panorama changed to a stingy man to man defense in the second frame.  Panther quickness seemed too much as the Bulldogs managed only 2 points in the second frame and trailed 43-21 at halftime, a deficit from which they could  never recover. Panorama went on to win 70-36.
    “We got off to a strong start in the first quarter against their zone,” commented Ogden Coach Ben Van Wyk. “Our spacing and penetration were good which led to a number of open perimeter looks we were able to knock down. When they finally went to man, their athleticism and depth really started to wear us down.
