Ogden's on the go! Watch us grow

It’s been a day-to-day point of interest for Kathy and me across the street.

We first heard about it the end of 2015. Plans were being made for the “Treloar Building.” There would be three service businesses downstairs and the upstairs would be remodeled into some apartments. And the changes began.

Now I hear townspeople talk of the renovations as a point of pride for our town.

I think watching that transformation made me more observant. I started to realize ‘Ogden is growing! We’re on the go!’ And in the months since then, I’ve noticed a few other changes.

The Spinning Wheels Skating Rink has been sold to new owners, Twice the Story, a new business in the Ebenezer Antiques building is up and running after some major remodeling, The Lucky Pig Pub and Grill is under new ownership, there is a new home being built for the first time in several years which is bringing in a young family. And east of town, Curt Erickson has been building new storage rental units. He put up a ten-unit storage building in April of this year and has plans for a twenty unit building in October. He has also purchased the Country Aire Mobile Home Park and is redeveloping the land for residential housing. There will be thirteen building lots in that new location.

With all of this in mind, I ran over to ask the RE/MAX ladies what brought them here.
