Ogden woman named Employee of The Year at Accura Healthcare

Jennifer Trullinger of Ogden recently received the honor of Employee of The Year for her work at Accura Healthcare of Ogden. While she has been a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 20 years, she began working at the Ogden Manor in February of 2017.

“Some of the most rewarding moments come when you can tell you really made a difference in a resident’s life,” said Trullinger.

Other than caring for residents, one of the most important parts of her job is training new CNA’s. Each time she trains someone new she encourages them to talk with residents in order to help lighten the mood and to give them something else to think about. Visiting with and getting to know the people you care for can make a huge difference in their experience day-to-day. She also encourages incoming CNA’s to work as a team and to practice patience with the residents.
