Ogden Legacy announces $10,000 available to fix-up Ogden homes

Ogden Legacy announces the creation of a grant program to help homeowners fix-up their homes.  The Fix-Up Initiative is designed to increase property values and improve the general attractiveness of Ogden. Eligible projects include an improvement that improves the attractiveness of the exterior of a home and increases the value of an existing home within the City of Ogden. Special consideration will be given to applicants utilizing local suppliers and contractors for the improvement projects. Grant funds may cover no more than 50% of total project costs and will not exceed $1,000 per project. Applications must be submitted on or before May 15, 2016.  Projects must commence after May 15, 2016 and must be completed by December 31, 2016.  Grants will be made if funds are available for the Program.
