Ogden boys rebound from loss and overpower Guthrie Center

It’s tough to pick yourself up after a 76-38 beatdown, but the Bulldogs did just that. They not only put that loss to Woodward Academy Tuesday, Dec. 2 behind them, they set out to make a statement in their next game. The victim, Guthrie Center.

“I felt like going into the game we were about a week away from being game ready,” said Coach Dave Morris of the Woodward Academy matchup. “We are trying to learn so many things in a short period of time. We will get there. One of the biggest things is having players be consistent in our fast break game. If we can keep that up, getting quick buckets will help us  do a lot of the other things we still need to get better at.”

Morris said the change in attitude his team took in the previous three days played a significant role in the outcome of the Guthrie Center game.
