The Bulldogs capped off their winning week edging Roland-Story 3-2 Saturday, June 2 at the Roland-Story Tournament (story next week). Humboldt, Panorama and South Central Calhoun all fell victim to the Bulldogs earlier. West Central Valley was host for Monday night’s game. Van Meter was in town Tuesday (both after presstime.) This Wednesday and Thursday night’s games are on the road at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Madrid.

OGDEN 9 - Humboldt 7

The Bulldogs rallied for a 9-7 win over Humboldt, Friday, May 25. Ogden jumped first as they took advantage of Humboldt mistakes and tallied 4 runs in the first as Chad Mohr collected a big hit with a run-scoring double.

Humboldt responded as Noah Snedden ran into trouble. Ogden miscues and free passes led to 6 runs with Jake Thurm and Michael Brightly collecting the big doubles and the Bulldogs fell behind 6-4.

In the home half of the third, Ogden took advantage of miscues and free passes to tally 3 runs for a 7-6 lead they would never give up. Jade Thompson came in to slam the door shut for the Bulldog win.
