Martha Fisher

Martha J. Fisher, 49, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home in Ogden.

A graveside service for Martha will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden.

Martha Jo Gregory, daughter of Richard Gregory and Jacquelyn (Blair) Goebel was born on October 24, 1970 in Webster City, Iowa. She was raised in Webster City and graduated from Webster City Senior High School in 1989. Throughout the years, Martha worked for Farm Journal and Beam Industries both in Webster City, NeoData in Clarion, Vantec in Webster City, and most recently at Dollar General in Ogden.

On January 13, 2016, Martha married Jon W. Fisher in Boone, Iowa. The couple made their home in Ogden. Martha enjoyed crafts, playing cards with her family, motorcycle rides and stock car races.

Martha is survived by her husband, Jon Fisher of Ogden; six children, Jacob Krieger of Webster City, Breanna Krieger of Carroll, Skylar Gregory of Ogden, Mitchell Fisher of Johnston, Megan Fisher of Ames, and Karisa (Thomas) Mullen of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by her mother, Jackie (Leo) Goebel of Vincent; father, Richard Gregory of Webster City; two sisters, Sherry (Raymond) Girard of Winchester, NH, and Sandy (Bob) Weldon of Boone; her uncle, John (Carolyn) Gregory of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Jean Blair and her paternal grandparents, Don and Violet Gregory.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
