Lady golfers are conference champs; boys place seventh

Boys Golf Sectionals are this Friday;

Girls Golf Regionals start Monday

Five of the top 12 golfers Monday, May 4 at Cedar Pointe in Boone, sported Bulldog blue and white. The Bulldogs placed three girls in the top five and cruised to a WCAC conference championship.

Hannah Carter shot 47 on her first round then 52 on her second to take second overall with a total of 99. Kylie Westberg placed third at 103 strokes on 18 holes. Sveta Hansen took 5th after carding a score of 106.

Harlie Vinchattle finished in 115 strokes, good for ninth place and Bailey Porter claimed the 12th spot, carding 121.

First year golfer Jackie Lawler ended the day with a score of 131.
