Ladies pick up their fifth win; stand at 5-2

Last Friday, the Bulldogs survived a tough Woodward-Granger Hawk team, winning 41-37.
“I didn’t think we played with a lot of toughness in the first half,” commented Coach Ben Van Wyk. “We didn’t play with much of a sense of urgency. But I felt our energy level and intensity was much better in the second half. Offensively we were able to string together a number of good possessions and defensively I thought we did a good job of limiting them to one shot.”
“We’re sitting at 5-2 right now and have only played one game that’s been decided by more than 10 points. I’m happy with how our girls continue to battle and find ways to be successful.”
The Bulldogs shot 33% from the field, led by Abby Langel’s 15 points. Allea Klauenberg finished the night with 11 points, shooting 5 of 8 from the floor, and six boards. Faith Mohr was the leading rebounder at 7.
Ogden travels to Panorama Tuesday and return home in action Friday night against Perry.
