Introducing OTC’s new general manager

Although Ogden Telephone Company’s (OTC) new general manager’s previous career was in the ag field, his business/management expertise was what made Jim Heckman’s resume attractive to the Directors who brought him on board the first of May. Heckman, who has lived in the Boone area for 20 years, had traveled extensively in his previous job and was looking for a change when he heard about the position.

“We are very excited to find Jim and have him on board as our new general manager,” says Board President Craig Heineman. “He will help us move ahead as a company and serve our customers.  OTC contracted with Huxley Telephone Co. to manage Ogden until a new full-time general manager could be found.  The previous general manager, Gary Clark, was splitting duties between Ogden and Huxley.  We would like to thank Gary and the Huxley Telephone Co. for their management, guidance, and support while we were without a full-time manager.”
