Help celebrate Boone County's history

Boone County Historical Society is offering a special invitation to local artists, historians, historical collectors, and both Ogden Questers groups to join in a conversation about “YesterBoone,” a celebration of history that engages participants of all ages.

The group will gather Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Swede Valley Lutheran Church (lower level). Swede Valley is located 4 1/2 miles south of Ogden on Hwy. 169. Because a light meal is being served, you are asked to RSVP by Monday, July 31st.

YesterBoone is a new event for residents and visitors of Boone County. The event offers a creative platform for artists, historians, and collectors who want to display, create, or perform history in the following categories: fixed-exhibits, collections, and history performance. The event takes place over a three-day weekend: Friday through Sunday, September 29-30 and awards will be given on October 1st.
