Growing, one house at a time

Thanks to the coordinated effort of a property owner, realtor, builder and Ogden Legacy, ground has broken for a new house in Ogden.

A survey taken by Ogden Legacy’s Housing Committee was the catalyst leading to the construction of a single family home here. If weather cooperates, Dave and Kari Lenning and their young son Beau will be moving into their new home at 119 SW 7th Street the latter part of July.

The purpose of the survey was three-fold. To identify:

• empty lots (the in-fill project),

• homes that needed fixed up and

• areas for new development.
