Girls struggle with Panorama; hold on against Madrid

The Ogden girls returned after the break and had to face a tough opponent, the Panthers of Panorama. The Lady Bulldogs started off strong, only being down by three after the first quarter. The last three quarters were dominated by Panorama,  who out-scored Ogden by 35 points to win the game 81-43.

The Lady Bulldogs had a balanced scoring attack against Panorama. Abby Langel led the team with 11 points, making three shots behind the arc. Langel added in three assists. Ashton Boggess was next for Ogden as she scored nine points and two assists. Meredith Adreon chipped in eight points and led the team with four assists. Allea Klauenberg added six points and four rebounds. Denali Loecker led on the boards with five rebounds. 

The girls shot 47% from the field and 50% from behind the arc. One area where Ogden did well was assisting their teammates. The Lady Bulldogs assisted on 13 of their 17 field goals. 

Ogden 60 - Madrid 56

Looking to rebound after the Panorama game, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Madrid on Friday night. The game was a close one, but the Bulldogs finished on top with a score of 60 to 56.
