Girls basketball opens with win over Southeast Valley

The Ogden high school girls’ basketball team opened the season off with a big win, demolishing Southeast Valley 54-23. 

This game was utter domination by the Ogden team. They finished the first quarter with a 22-2 lead. They didn’t stop after that, not allowing Southeast Valley to top 10 points in any quarter. While Ogden didn’t continue their hot scoring after the first quarter, they didn’t need to. They had a comfortable lead and rode their defense. 

Speaking of their defense, Ogden’s defense was relentless. They forced poor shots, contested Southeast Valley’s shots, and they had quick hands. Altogether, Ogden stole the ball 14 times.
