Funeral services for Martin "Mert" Ewals

Martin Daniel Ewals, 89, of Pilot Mound, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Stratford Specialty Care in Stratford, Iowa.

He is survived by his children: Keith Ewals, Jeff Ewals, Gail Clark and Valerie Czecok; stepsons: Randy Johnson and Larry Johnson; sister, Terry Berthiaume; nephew: Wayne Berthiaume; many grandchildren, friends and extended family.

Family and friends will gather for a “Celebration of Life” from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, August 12th, 2018, at the Community Center in Pilot Mound, Iowa. Mert’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a private burial. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
