Funeral services for Joyce Lass

Joyce Lass, 78, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at the Church of Christ in Ogden. Joe Buxton officiated. Burial was at Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden. Joyce Devee Wright was born on Jan. 29, 1937, in Jackson Township, Greene County, IA, the daughter of John “Jack” and Clara (Mull) Wright. She graduated with the Scranton High School class of 1955.

On Aug. 28, 1955, Joyce was united in marriage to Donald L. Lass at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson, IA. After marriage, the couple lived and farmed in the Ogden area for many years.
