Experiencing CMS Club’s virtual reality lab

“It is so cool,” said OHS junior Jacob Hildreth about virtual reality, a rapidly advancing technology that produces computer-generated simulations of three dimensional images and environments. “You don’t know where it’s going to go. It’s branching out everywhere.”

As a member of Ogden High School’s CMS (Computer, Math Science) Club, Hildreth is VR certified, meaning he has become skilled at operating the equipment in the high school’s Virtual Reality Lab and can conduct training sessions.

My co-worker and I recently had the pleasure of a virtual reality experience. 

While browsing the tables of silent auction items at this year’s Bulldog Ball I was drawn to a “breakfast package” - made up of pancake mix, chocolate chips, oil, measuring cup, and a wonderful glass b™owl. On my second trip around the room, I noticed three small jars of homemade maple syrup.
