Districts up next for Bulldogs

The boys track team had a competitive week with conferences then hosting a home track meet.

In the conference meet at Madrid, the Ogden boys faced some stiff competition and ended up in 7th place, scoring 43 points. They did have some great performances though that were very noteworthy.

Andrew Stumbo got the Bulldogs’ sole first place finish, though he came less than a second from getting two gold medals. In the 3200 meter, he was reigned supreme again, with a 2 second victory. He ended up with a 10:04.04 which just barely edged Madrid’s Sean McDermott. McDermott got him back though, beating Stumbo in the 1600 meter run by .68 seconds.

Blake Gregory also had a good meet. He finished third in the 400 meter dash, ending up with a time of 53.81 which got his team six points. Andrew Haberer got third in the discus, throwing 144’-02.50”. Coy Kirkpatrick, an Iowa football commitment, finished first with a throw of 170 feet.
