Corn surplus mounts up
It seems as though harvest season is starting to settle down. 1.3 million bushel was estimated to be laying on the ground at Landus Cooperative in Beaver this fall. Our farmers aren’t resting following what seemed to be a long harvest, though. The empty fields are now filled with tractors pulling rippers or anhydrous tanks, prepping for the planting season this spring. -Ogden Reporter photo
