Christmas on Main Street

The holidays are fast approaching and preparations are underway for our community festivities Sunday, Dec. 7. Here is just a preliminary list of activities scheduled for that day. Watch next week for more details.

SOUP LUNCHEON: Christmas on Main Street kicks off with a soup luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McGraw Senior Citizen Center. The Center will be decorated with table top Christmas trees. Proceeds from the silent auction of the trees will go to a community need yet to be decided.

OPEN HOUSES: Businesses will be hosting holiday open houses from 1 to 4 p.m.

OGDEN BUCKS DRAWING: Ogden Bucks will be presented to a downtown shopper that afternoon.

TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY: A community tree lighting and caroling will take place east of The Lucky Pig Pub & Grill at 4:30 p.m.

A visit from Santa Claus, story time with Mrs. Claus and horse drawn wagon rides are planned for that day as well.
