Celebrating Life!

Ryan Bristle and his wife Chrissy led the Survivors Lap during Boone County Relay for Life’s event here Friday, June 16. Ryan, a cancer survivor, this year’s featured speaker, shared his touching story. Each and everyone present at the Ogden High School track had a connection with him. They were either currently battling cancer, counted among the survivors, or have been touched by a family member or friend who has had cancer. Ryan asked everyone gathered if they could hug someone nearby, and hold the hug for 19 seconds. “Every 19 seconds,” he said, “someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with cancer.”
