Bulldogs host WCAC wrestling tournament

    Ogden played host to the West Central Activities Conference Wrestling Tournament Saturday, Dec. 15. At 138 pounds, Avery McCloud was Ogden’s top wrestler, placing third. Jacob Kathman (138 lbs.) placed fourth. Garnering sixth place were Dominic Degeneffe, Lane Williams and Bryant Dutcher.

    According to Coach Jesse Sundell, Ogden went into this tournament missing a few key wrestlers. “We knew we were behind a lot of the teams based off the numbers we were entering. We fought in the matches we were in. Avery McCloud had a good day finishing third. He is starting to show us the fight and attitude that he needs to make the next step. We will focus a lot over break over some technique and keep working on our basic positions.”
