Bulldogs defeat DM Christian and Woodward Academy

The Bulldogs sent 17 batters to the plate in a 16-0 win over the Woodward Academy Knights Monday, June 12. Ogden only collected three hits in the first inning. Nathan  Kennedy and Jade Thompson each had two-run singles. Ogden had 6 hits on the night but took advantage of 7 free passes and 4 Knight errors in the win. Ogden used three pitchers in the game the combined effort of Carter Church, Wesley Clausen and Taylon Engleen held the Knights to two hits. The trio stuck out 6 while issuing 3 free passes. 

Ogden vs. WC Valley

WCV’s Cole Aunberg shut the Bulldogs down in a 9-0 loss to the Wildcats last Tuesday. The Bulldogs were held to 4 hits striking out nine times in the ball game. 

Ogden  had a chance to score in the second when Jacob Craven doubled to center and was sacrificed by Austin Flynn advancing him to third, but Craven was thrown out at the plate. Then in the third, Kayden Kruse, with one out, tripled to left center but was stranded at third. 

Ogden was led by Kruse with three hits. Craven added a double. 

Ogden vs. Boone

Ogden faced off against Boone Wednesday, June 14 at Boone Memorial Park. Toreador Spencer Wilkening led Boone to an 11-2 win over the Bulldogs. Boone collected 10 hits in the attack. Ogden held to 5 hits in the loss.
