Bulldogs are "really competing"

Boy’s baseball took on South Hamilton on Saturday, June 22. Here the ‘dogs suffered a 1-11 defeat, but were able to turn things around early in the week. On Monday, the team played Woodward-Granger at home.

The game saw a “great pitching performance by Elbert,” according to head coach Dick Smith. Elbert pitched 6 1/3 before Charter Church coming in for the final two to close and get a save. Charlie Lake scored a run in the 3rd inning, breaking the 1-1 tie, making it the eventual winning run at 2-1.

On Tuesday the bulldogs played against Panorama, coming out on top once again with a 4-3 win. Jacob Craven pitched for the evening, with an ERA of 2.00. Four runs came from Kayden Kruse, Kolby Moorman, Kaden Moorman, and Ethan Snedden.
