Bulldog matmen win one at Quadrangular
An unanswered 36 points rallied the Ogden wrestling team to a 42-39 win over Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center to finish 1-2 in a Quadrangular here Thursday (Dec. 19).
The narrow three-point victory came after losses to Southeast Valley, 54-20 and to Panorama, 45-18.
Down 39-6, the Bulldogs closed the meet with ACGC with two pins and four forfeits. Aiden Kathman (182 pounds) ignited the comeback with a fall in 3:07 followed by Xander Soder (195) with a first period pin in 1:49. Blake Haub (220) then collected the first of four straight forfeits followed by David Hammer (285), Levi Russo (106) and Kale Munson (113).
