The Bulldog Ball - Fun, food, fundraising

The morning after the Bulldog Ball, I ran into Dr. Rick Elbert, President of the Ogden Alumni Association. He was just beaming - so pleased about this year’s turnout. The Fourth Annual Bulldog Ball Saturday night at TK’s Event Center in Boone honored the Ogden Wrestling program. Former and current Ogden wrestling coaches Brian Reimers and Jesse Sundell were guest speakers. Several former Bulldog wrestlers, in attendance, some coming from as far away as Wisconsin, reminisced about their high school days. As in the past, money’s raised from a special collection that evening is donated to the group being honored. This year, event planners played off the friendly rivalry between the Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cyclones. As winners, the generous Cyclone fans joined in singing their beloved fight song.
