Andrew Stumbo breaks school record

Ogden’s Andrew Stumbo cut through the rain for a record breaking run last Monday, winning his 3200 meter event in a time of 10:03.58, a new school record. The old record of 10:12.15 was held by Robert Alexander in 2005.

The Bulldogs, who were without their senior athletes, placed fourth overall in the Southeast Valley Coed Relays April 18 at Burnside.

Stumbo finished behind Southeast Valley’s Spencer Warehime for second placed in the 1600 meter run. Bulldog Andrew Haberer picked up 8 points by placing second in the discus throw.

Another fine individual performance came from Nathan McCutcheon - a third place finish in the 400 meter hurdles.
