4-H'ers model today's trendy fashion

Boone County 4-H’ers modeled purchased and constructed outfits at the 4-H Fashion Show on Monday evening, July 16th at the Community Building on the Boone County Fairgrounds. 

Four members  were selected to represent Boone County at the Iowa State Fair: Lauren Hansen

of the Luther Livewires 4-H Club in Fashion Revue, Landra Reece of the Montana Miners 4-H Club in Clothing Selection and Claire Smith of the Montana Miners 4-H Club in $15 Challenge.  

Landra Reece was selected as an alternate for $15 Challenge,  Josie Noland of the Peoples Guys & Gals 4-H Club as an alternate for Clothing Selection and  Natalie Bretey of the Luther Livewires 4-H Club as an alternate for Fashion Revue.

Following are the honors each participant received that night.

 

Ribbon Placings for Fashion Revue

(garment constructed by 4-H’er)

Outstanding Purple:Bella Bryan, Lucy Reed, Jacie Flockhart, Claire Smith and Natalie Bretey.

Blue: Lydia Longhorn and Emma Wiebold.

 

Ribbon Placings for Savvy Shopper (new outfit purchased for $25 or less at a retail store)

Outstanding Purple: Izzy Reutter, Bella Bryan, Mila Grothus, Alanna Schroeder, Mary Woodard, Spencer Toms, Landra Reece, Claire Smith, Katie Barnes and Natalie Bretey.  

Blue:Carley Crouthamel, Gracie Gustafson and Lydia Dozier.
